Welcome to Small Scale Showcase, where we bring the world of miniatures to life.

My name is Carol Couperthwaite, and my fascination with miniatures began in childhood. That passion led me to open my first online store in 2013, where I began sharing the incredible artistry of miniature creators with fellow enthusiasts. For years, my goal has been to offer more than just miniatures—I wanted to showcase true artistry on a small scale. Our collection has grown to feature exquisite, handcrafted 1:12 scale pieces from talented artisans across the globe.

In 2020, like many others, I was looking for a new hobby to get me through lockdown. I purchased my first 3D printer as a "lockdown toy" and immediately fell in love with the technology. It opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities, allowing me to design and produce pieces with incredible detail and precision. This discovery led me to combine my love for handmade craftsmanship with the exciting potential of 3D printing.

Today, we're proud to offer a curated selection of both unique artisan pieces and precision-printed miniatures, giving you even more options to bring your miniature scenes to life.

At Small Scale Showcase, every item is chosen with a passion for quality and a deep appreciation for the art of the tiny. We're delighted to be part of your creative journey and can't wait to see what you'll create next.

A Quick note about our files:

We appreciate your enthusiasm for our designs!    We do not sell, share, or license the STL (digital design) files for any of our miniature kits.

We are committed to delivering the finished 3D printed product as an unfinished kit, ready for you to enjoy the creative process of sanding, priming, and painting!

Design Licensing Details:

Some of the unique files are designed in-house by Carol Couperthwaite.

Other files are legally purchased from various designers with a valid Commercial Print License.
